I’m a creative and detail-oriented linguist, with a background in global event management, brand communications and business travel, alongside a lifelong passion for horses.

My qualifications and experience

I hold an MA in Translation with Distinction from the University of Surrey and a BA in German and Spanish from the University of Exeter. I’ve been working as a professional translator since I completed my MA in 2021 and have handled well over a quarter of a million words so far.

My memberships

I’m an Affiliate Member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI) and a Career Affiliate Member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL). I’ve also joined the ITI Spanish Network, the ITI German Network, the ITI Marketing Network and the ITI Surrey Regional Group. After my MA, I completed the ITI’s Setting Up as a Freelance Translator course and was honoured to be voted ‘Best in Class’ by the tutors.

My way of working

My eye for detail and highly personalised approach reassures my clients that they are in a safe pair of hands, while my commitment to Continued Professional Development ensures that I stay informed and updated in both the translation industry and my fields of specialisation.
